Changes at the C + P Freiberg location

Steel construction production remains at the Freiberg location, sales and project management move to Leipzig

For more than 25 years, CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER has been firmly rooted in Freiberg with an independent company location. Every year up to 7,000 tons of steel are manufactured at the location in Himmelfahrtsgasse, which are used in construction projects in the field of industrial, commercial and bridge construction throughout Germany. And that's the way it will remain!

However: the steel construction production and the sales activities as well as the operative project management will be spatially separated in the future. The steel construction production remains unchanged at the Freiberg production site, while the companies entrusted with sales and project management are currently relocating their offices to Leipzig.

A conscious decision to bundle the resources for sales and project management at one location. Together with the sales and planning company for turnkey industrial construction, which is already based in Leipzig, they move into common premises.

“The interfaces between the three planning companies are large, so that we can create synergies through the new spatial proximity. All companies remain independent, but can cooperate quickly and offer customers a broader service portfolio”, explains Michael Steeger, managing director of the companies affected by the changes.

Regardless of the construction project: builders from industry and the public sector are always directly at the right contact in Leipzig – from building new halls to structural steel construction and bridge construction to turnkey production facilities, projects can be implemented on request from planning to installation. And the Freiberg production facility in turn benefits from this.

“We are certain that with a bundled presence and a wider range of local offers, we will be able to better participate in the boom in the economic region of Leipzig and Saxony. In this way, we are also strengthening steel construction production in Freiberg”, says Michael Steeger, summarizing the upcoming changes.
