The Construction Division of the CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER group of companies has given the Parents' Initiative for Children's Dialysis in Marburg a late Christmas gift in the form of a donation check amounting to 5,250 euro. At the headquarters of the Construction Division in Angelburg, Jürgen Wendt, lead nurse at the KfH Kidney Center, and Prof. Günter Klaus, lead doctor of the KfH Kidney Center in Marburg, accepted the symbolic check from CEO Rolf Heinecke.
As in previous years, the company had decided to redirect the budget for client gifts for financial year 2017 to a good cause. "It was important to us for the donation to remain targeted in the region. Information from an employee about the excellent and important work of the Initiative provided the impetus," explains Rolf Heinecke.
The younger patients of the Marburg Kidney Center can be particularly pleased, because a large proportion of the money will flow into their planned summer vacation at the Ederhof rehabilitation center in East Tyrol. Here, these young people - who largely depend on dialysis - will be able to take a break from their otherwise exhausting everyday routines.
