At the conclusion of financial year 2016 Christmann & Pfeifer Construction GmbH & Co. KG again decided not to purchase Christmas gifts for customers but instead support a charitable organization once again. The beneficiary this year – in-time for its 25th anniversary – was the DKMS (formerly the German Bone Marrow Donor Registry).
Employees had held their own collection, which meant that the company donation of 5,000 euro was increased by a further 300 euro, allowing a check for a total of 5,300 euro to be handed over. "What the DKMS does in the war against leukemia for those affected is truly impressive. At CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER we want to continue supporting this kind of commitment that has made DKMS the world's largest donor center. We have been able to see for ourselves the extent to which they help, because one of our employees is affected by the disease", underlined C + P CEO, Rolf Heinecke, during presentation of the check.
