This year, the Cologne-based rating and ranking agency ServiceValue, in cooperation with the newspaper DIE WELT, conducted its nationwide survey "Germany's Best Training Companies" for the second time in a row. A total of 3,984 companies from the service, trade and industry sectors were evaluated in terms of their attractiveness as training companies. As in the previous year, CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER made it into the category of "highly attractive" companies.
"Of course, we were delighted when we received the news that we had once again made it into the rankings," says Ulrike Bonacker, HR Manager at CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER, adding: "As a company with almost 100 years of history, we traditionally place a great deal of importance on training our own junior staff. After all, today's trainees are tomorrow's qualified employees. That's why it's all the more gratifying to receive such confirmation of our work."
CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER offers training in industrial as well as technical and commercial professions. Construction mechanics (m/f/x), Technical system planners (m/f/x), Draughtsmen (m/f/x) as well as Industrial administrators (m/f/x) and IT specialists (m/f/x) are trained. In addition, a dual study program in the fields of Civil engineering and Business Administration is possible, which is offered in cooperation with the Technical University of Central Hesse (THM).
Over the years, many great careers have developed within the company, as Ulrike Bonacker reports: "Our employee Jana, for example, now works as a planning coordinator in our in-house engineering office. She started more than 10 years ago with an apprenticeship as a technical draftswoman, then completed her vocational baccalaureate in parallel with her job and subsequently completed a dual study program in Civil engineering with us. Or our employee Tobias, who completed his training as a Technical systems planner a few years ago as Germany's best trainee and is now involved in the marketing and further development of our modular Preflex® Parking Garage as an employee in technical sales."
Careers and stories like these are what define us as a training company.
