On August 23, 2018, the fifth CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER momentum event took place. As in previous years, a large number of interested participants from the worlds of industry and business once again accepted the invitation from C + P Industriebau Freiberg GmbH & Co. KG.

This year's event took place under the motto "On the rocks: of ore and silver rush" at the terra mineralia in Freiberg. In his entertaining lecture, Prof. Bernhard Cramer, mining foreman at the Upper Mining Authority of Saxony, talked about the past, present and future of mining in Saxony. An exclusive guided tour of the terra mineralia followed, during which participants were able to admire minerals, gems and meteorites from all over the world. The joint dinner, which took the form of a rustic Saxon buffet in the midst of the exhibition, offered a very pleasant framework for concluding the event with lively discussion.

These momentum events have already been a permanent fixture in the calendar of the CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER site in Freiberg for several years. They provide an opportunity for participants to learn, make new contacts, leverage synergies and exchange views outside the constraints of everyday working and office life.
