Smart production hall including office space

The project managers of C + P in Leipzig took less than a year to plan and implement the new turnkey production hall for smartpolymer in Rudolstadt, Thuringia, as general contractor. The company produces synthetic fibers and products, among others for cosmetics, medicine and building materials.

The company headquarters are now just as smart as its products. It provides 1,600 square meters of new production space and 300 square meters of office space with sanitary facilities. With its work, C + P covered service phases 1-8 according to HOAI: concept, building application and implementation.

The object was built in a skeleton construction with precast reinforced concrete parts. The special foundation with deep foundation and the complex building services provided challenges: after all, highly complex functional fibers are manufactured here and correspondingly complex precautions would have to be taken for the systems.

In the end, the customer was sure to be satisfied. Everything from a single source – this often means not only time savings for the client, but also leaner coordination processes.
