New bottling site for technical gases
Westfalen AG has had a new bottling plant for gases built on an area of 20,000 square meters in Lanken near Elmshorn in Schleswig-Holstein. For the contractor Oevermann, we supplied and assembled 42 tons of steel construction for various objects in the complex.
This resulted in a hall area with a side canopy, a bottling hall with an office area, a recreation room with a shelter and a few more roofs and shelters. In total, we manufactured 598 meters of C-profiles for this project.
The largest part of the order was the hall area of the bottling hall with side canopy. In addition to the almost 15 tons of steel construction and 336 metres of C-profiles, we also provided the roofing, vertical isopanels, plastic windows, aluminium doors and sectional doors.
The bottling site for technical gases has been the new transshipment point for various gases for industry, food and medicine since the end of 2023. In addition to propane and refrigerants, oxygen, for example, is also supplied from here for people with respiratory diseases.
