Modern Corporate Headquarters with Manufacturing Plant
An attractive corporate headquarter was built in two stages of construction for the company FKM between 2013 and 2015, to plans by the architect Petra Pfau. C + P realized the turnkey construction of the building as part of a consortium with the construction company Wilhelm Scheld.
On a plot of 3,000 m² a modern building complex was erected in accordance with ecological principles. At the very heart of the building is a production facility that now houses 30 laser sintering plants. These are supplied with powder from multiple silos via a central distributor station operating in a fully automated closed cycle system. Moreover, all downstream and upstream mechanical or surface technology processing operations take place in a process-optimized infrastructure in accordance with an industrial model.
This project also made C + P a pioneer: This building is considered to be the first fully-fledged laser sintering plant worldwide .
