Aircraft Hangar for Siegerland Regional Airport
For the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein, we built a new aircraft hangar with an area of 1,095 square meters on the grounds of Siegerland Airport.
Around 76 tons of steel were used for the approx. 41 x 23 meter steel structure. A special feature is the 38-meter wide and 6-meter high hangar door, which consists of six wing doors. A total of six sports aircrafts can be accommodated in the aircraft hangar.
We were responsible for the steel construction, the facade and roofing services, SHEVS skylight dome, hangar door and the roof sealing of the small extension (technical building).
