For the fifth consecutive year, the Cologne-based analytics institute ServiceValue, in cooperation with the newspaper WELT, has conducted the nationwide study “Germany’s Best Training Companies.”
Recognition Through Independent Study
We’ve done it again in 2025: CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER is once more recognized as a highly attractive company for vocational training!
The study collected data from nearly 4,000 providers across the service, retail, and industrial sectors. The foundation of the analysis and resulting ranking is a public survey aimed at identifying which companies are perceived as particularly attractive by the general population.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be included again this year,” says Ulrike Bonacker, Head of HR at CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER. “Especially because 2025 is a very special year for us - we’re celebrating our 100th anniversary. As a company rooted in tradition and deeply connected to our region, training our own skilled professionals has always been a natural part of who we are.”
Training with Tradition – The Ditze Family Example
One great example is the Ditze family. Grandfather Paul began working in steel construction assembly at C + P in 1965. His sons Dirk and Torsten followed in the 1980s - today, both are active in project management and steel production. Dirk’s daughter Jana started her career with us in 2009 and has achieved remarkable success: after training as a technical system planner, she completed a dual degree in civil engineering and now works as a planning engineer.
At a mid-sized family business like CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER, values like solidarity, trust, and long-term career prospects are essential - many families have multiple generations working with us.
Values, Change, and Long-Term Success
Just as careers evolve, so does a company rooted in tradition. Continuous progress and innovation - in products, processes, and working methods - are key to long-term success. That’s likely one reason CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER has once again earned a spot in the 2025 ranking of “Germany’s Best Training Companies.”
The Ditze family agrees: “It’s amazing how the company has changed over the years. So exciting!” Relocations, plant expansions, new locations, new business areas—“You just grow with it!”
