Information on Accessibility
General Description
Our goal is to provide all users - regardless of individual limitations - with easy and effective access to our information. We are committed to ensuring that our services are available through an intuitively usable platform.
Description and Explanation of Service Delivery
Our information is provided via a responsive website that is accessible on various devices (desktop PC, tablet, smartphone). The use of our services primarily takes place through graphical user interfaces.
Communication
We offer contact options regarding our services through the provided channels.
Interaction mainly occurs through clicking, tapping, or text input. Visual information plays a central role and is supplemented by textual alternatives to ensure accessibility.
Operational Approach to Meeting Accessibility Requirements
This statement outlines our operational approach to meeting the requirements of the Accessibility Strengthening Act ("BFSG") and the associated regulation ("BFSGV").
Our approach is based on current technological standards and follows harmonized norms such as EN 301 549, as well as internationally recognized guidelines like the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and ISO 9241-171:2008. These frameworks serve as references and guides for designing our services.
We continuously work to ensure the accessibility of our presentations and related processes. Below, we list exemplary measures taken to ensure the accessibility of our services.
General Measures for Our Services and Content
Perceivability, Operability, Understandability, and Robustness
Perceivability
- We primarily provide content as structured text that can be reliably processed by screen readers.
- Visual elements such as icons and graphics are largely equipped with meaningful alt texts to ensure perceivability across different channels. For specific components, we continuously evaluate how assistive attributes can be added.
Operability
Standard navigation (tab order, forms) is mostly functional via keyboard. For more complex controls (e.g., modal dialogs, carousels), focus management is continuously optimized to ensure reliable operability without a mouse.
Understandability
Our texts and error messages follow a consistent, clear style. Technical terms are used sparingly, and context-sensitive help texts support user guidance where processes are more complex.
Robustness
Semantic HTML and ARIA attributes form the technical foundation. Custom-developed components are validated against current specifications to ensure broad support by assistive technologies.
Provision of Information
- Important information about our processes is easy to find and presented in a clear manner.
- Content is provided in text formats that allow the generation of alternative assistive formats via the platform.
- Non-text content (images, graphics) is supplemented with meaningful text alternatives (alt texts).
- Information is displayed in a font with appropriate size, suitable contrast, and adjustable spacing.
Specific Measures in Electronic Commerce for Our Services
- We ensure that accessibility information is provided where available.
- We integrate our services into accessibly designed identification, authentication, and security functions to ensure a perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust process.
Ongoing Development
- Accessibility of our services is a continuous process.
- We pursue an approach of ongoing development and optimization to always meet current requirements and technological standards.
