Innovation isn’t always about the big breakthrough. Of course, developing entirely new technologies, groundbreaking products, or forward‑looking solutions is at the core of what we typically call innovation. But in day‑to‑day business and in the collaboration between companies and clients, innovation often takes a more practical form - one defined by flexibility, solution‑oriented thinking, adaptability, and creativity. The goal: delivering tailored solutions.
We have pursued this aspiration for more than 100 years - and it has once again been confirmed externally through a recent study. The result: In the construction category, we were awarded the distinction “Very High Innovative Strength,” ranking us second among all recognized construction companies (after placing third the previous year).
Study Overview
The study was conducted by the Cologne-based analytics and consulting firm ServiceValue in cooperation with WELT. 188,996 evaluations from executives across 105 industries were collected.
The online survey was carried out independently and without involvement of the companies being evaluated. The assessment looked at the extent to which a company’s management strategies and concepts contribute to strong organizational or market-related innovative strength. Companies were included in the ranking if they received at least 75 executive evaluations.

That makes it all the more rewarding when - like in this current study - our efforts are recognized from the outside.”
