Career Start as a Civil Engineer at CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER

As a Technical Project Manager, Michael works closely with the technical office, sales, and costing departments to develop constructive solutions for parking garage construction. He started last spring after completing his master's thesis in civil engineering.

So now, as a young professional, he can already look back on quite the practical experience. During his studies, he worked as a student trainee at CHRISTMANN + PFEIFER and then wrote his master's thesis here. In it, Michael investigated alternative roof constructions for the modular Preflex® Parking Garage, thus laying the thematic foundations for his current work.

He explains why he came to stay: “I like the working atmosphere and collaborating with my colleagues. My area of responsibility is exciting and wide-ranging. In my day-to-day work, I have many interfaces with different departments here in the company, and our common goal is to implement each project in a customized and efficient manner.”

The fact that he already knows the company, the team, the responsibilities, and the processes well from his time as a student trainee is a real advantage. “I was an integral part of the team here from the very beginning, directly involved in projects and able to actively participate in day-to-day business.”

For Michael, it was the perfect start to his career – each step built on the previous one, and the conditions were just right. A successful transition from university to the practical job routine. Only one question remains: Would he do it again? The answer is clear: “Absolutely!”
